Business Staff
Dean Minardi is the Chief Entrepreneurial Officer overseeing seven Business Performance Coaches who provide support and problem solving by actively working with entrepreneurs to develop their skills.
Dean has been a part of Business Marketing Studies at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, is licensed in Real Estate for the State of Minnesota and has accumulated more than 135 hours of continuing education.
With more than 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and retail sectors, 16 of which were spent as a partner at Easy Housing of Duluth, Dean has developed a passion for entrepreneurship. During his time at Easy Housing, he helped launch a modular home development program, and was successful in a variety of other commercial land developments.
Dean’s expertise allows him to bring a variety of ideas and suggestions to the entrepreneurial table. He has experienced many of the challenges entrepreneurs face, and can help with everything from finances and processes, to management structures and personnel. Dean is determined to make this region an even more attractive place to live and work.
Dean lives in Duluth with his wife and has two grown children. He enjoys hunting, golf and the outdoors.
Kathy Keeley is the Design Consultant for Greenstone Group and has developed the Business Performance Coaching program with training, metrics and tools for entrepreneur coaches. Shes a strategic solutions designer that works primarily with nonprofit, government and small businesses to develop strategic results based plans, business plans and performance metrics.
Kathy has a B.A. in Social Work from the University of Iowa and an M.S. in Community Development from Southern Illinois University. She has taught graduate courses at Hamline University, Georgia University, Emory University and the HHH Institute at the University of Minnesota.
With more than 20 years under her belt as a social entrepreneur and advocate for small businesses all over the country, Kathy has worked with the Northland Foundation in Duluth, the Atlanta Community Foundation, United Way of Atlanta and more than 100 nonprofits and government institutions across the country. She developed the Make Mine a Million program for American Express providing business coaching in five markets. She also founded the first womens business loan fund in the U.S. called WEDCO and is the co-founder of the Association of Enterprise Opportunity.
Kathys diverse professional background, along with her superior leadership skills, continues to be an important part of the development of Greenstone Groups core programs.
Kathy resides on her farm outside of Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and horses. She has three grown children in Minnesota and Georgia.
Stacy Milner is the Business Information Officer responsible for coordinating the operations, information and programs of Greenstone Group. She supports the staff, coaches and clients through her excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Stacy has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Shes also serves as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America and the Duluth Public Schools.
A results-oriented professional with more than 20 years of experience in finance and management, Stacy is well versed in customer service, productivity and operations. Before joining Greenstone Group she held several roles at Praying Pelican Missions in Duluth including Project Manager and Missions Consultant. She was also a Senior Financial Analyst at United Health Group (Uniprise) in Duluth where she was a liaison between senior management and 33 different health plans in addition to creating the operations budget model and developing workload volume projections.
Stacy resides in Duluth with her husband and three boys. She is an avid outdoors person and enjoys traveling with her family.
Suzanne Semborski is the Campus Entrepreneurship Initiative Coordinator for Greenstone Group. She is responsible for encouraging entrepreneurship education among eight community colleges in northeast Minnesota. Her past experience in sales, recruitment and team building allow her to successfully inform local colleges on the importance of education in entrepreneurship.
Suzanne holds a Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin – Superior (UWS), has a Human Resources Generalist Certification and is a Certified NxLevel Entrepreneur Curriculum Instructor. She also taught General Music and Music Appreciation for 12 years.
Before joining Greenstone Group, Suzanne was the Assistant to the Director of Human Resources at Lake Superior College. Prior to that, she served as an Outreach Specialist for the UWS Small Business Development Center. Suzanne is also an experienced small-business owner, giving her the passion to teach others about the benefits of entrepreneurship education.
Suzanne lives in Superior, Wisconsin with her husband and son. She enjoys scrapbooking, golf and relaxing at the cabin.
