Group Coaching Sessions
Greenstone Group provides group coaching sessions that are actively facilitated by our coaches. Participants design the group coaching sessions at their first couple of meetings. They set the agenda, content, timing and location of the sessions, which typically last one to three hours depending on the design of the sessions.

Entrepreneurs are expected to share information, maintain confidentiality and actively participate in the group discussions. Groups create their own agenda, so each group can be different. The core purpose of group coaching is to network, share experiences and provide a facilitated coaching experience for all participants. Entrepreneurs are often looking to interact with others facing the same or similar issues. Our groups are organized to provide that entrepreneur-to-entrepreneur level of discussion and problem solving.

A typical outline for a group coaching session includes:

• Introduction by the members with a brief update
• Presentation by a group member on a key management topic or issue
• Discussion on the presentation topic
• Invitation to group members to ask for help on a key problem or reaction to a question raised by group members

Group sessions are scheduled monthly and regular attendance is expected at all scheduled meetings.

Peer-to-Peer Networking Groups
Some entrepreneurs would prefer to be in peer-to-peer networking groups that are self-facilitated. Members of peer-to-peer groups often represent similar industries such as technology, manufacturing or professional services.

Entrepreneurs from similar industries are organized into small groups of four or five entrepreneurs representing non-competing businesses. Greenstone Group provides group facilitation training and guidelines to group members with facilitation for the first three months. Members establish a format based on a template from the Greenstone Group. Group rules and norms are discussed so that common expectations and assumptions are established.
